Rehabilitation Center for preschool children with special needs from Straşeni townAugust 10, 2010 The Rehabilitation Center for preschool children with special needs from Straseni town was established in 2008 under the Education for All – Fast Track Initiative Project funded by the Catalytic Fund and implemented by the Ministry of Education, The EFA FTI funds are administered by the World Bank ; the Project’s Lead Agency is UNICEF Moldova. It is the first Rehabilitation Center for preschool children with special needs established in the country. It has been created in the premises of kindergarten nr 2 located in Straseni town which benefited of renovation works funded by the Project. Children are transported to the Center by the vehicle procured from the Project’s funds. The vehicle is entered in the Balance sheet of Straseni Mayor’s Office. Fifteen children currently attending the center benefit of the rehabilitation services and gradually get integrated in the kindergarten groups so having the possibility to communicate with other children. „Education for All – Fast Track Initiative” Project „Education for All – Fast Track Initiative” Project in Moldova is part of FAST TRACK INITIATIVE, which is a global partner to insure education for all.
