National campaign "Childhood free of violence"The campaign was conducted in 2006 at the initiative of the National Council for Child Protection, Ministry of Education, UNICEF Moldova and the National Center for Prevention of Child Abuse. The campaign took place throughout the country having the objective to convince parents stop beating their children and adopt alternative non-violent education methods, such as discussion with the child, explanation of mistakes, examples of good behavior etc.
