United Nations Children’s Fund in Moldova is eliciting the services of highly skilled English editors to proofread and edit UNICEF draft reports and publication

  Purpose: UNICEF advocacy for child rights in Moldova requires good communication not only with counterparts and the general public but also with the international community and foreign donors. In order to be effective, many of the reports, publications, studies and evaluations prepared for counterparts, need also to be made available in English. Translations often require further polishing in order to meet the required standard. UNICEF is eliciting the services of highly skilled English editors to proofread and edit UNICEF draft reports and publications before sending them to design and printing. The services will be requested periodically, upon office needs when a new report/publication or other communication materials will be produced.

   Purpose:  UNICEF  is  seeking  a  qualified  national consultant to provide technical  assistance and advice to the Office of the Deputy Speaker of the Parliament  in areas of decentralisation and social aspects related to this process,  local  public  finances  distribution, especially for social cash benefits, with a strong focus on the needs of the most vulnerable children.

   The national consultant will assist the Deputy Speaker of the Parliament in identifying  the  shortfalls of the current system of the social assistance and  in  exercising  the oversight role of the Parliament in the process of implementation of the already approved laws.
