“UNICEF will continue to support displaced people in Haradh,” said Julien Harneis. “Our support will be in line with the future regional structure, so our program in Haradh will be covered by Hodeidah Field Office from the beginning of next year.”

“This approach also seeks to reduce overheads and operational costs to increase investment directly in the areas of health, education and water for displaced people and host communities, in accordance with UNICEF’s strategic restructure.”

The meeting, held on Tuesday in the Hajjah Governorate building, focused on the overall situation of displaced people and the support programmes offered in order to create favorable conditions for their safe return home.
