The “UNICEF Snowflake” is anchored above the intersection of Fifth Avenue and 57th Street by four of New York’s most prestigious retailers: Tiffany & Co.; LVMH & Louis Vuitton; Bergdorf Goodman; and The Crown Building. The Snowflake was donated to UNICEF in 2002 by The Stonbely Family Foundation.

This evening of entertainment and holiday spirit on behalf of the world’s children is made possible in part by the generous contributions of sponsors, including Town & Country and Hearst, CBS 2 and Parfums Givenchy.

BACKGROUND:
Founded in 1946, UNICEF helps save, protect and improve the lives of children around the world through immunization, education, health care, nutrition, clean water and sanitation. UNICEF is non-partisan and its cooperation is free of discrimination. In everything it does, the most disadvantaged children and the countries in greatest need have priority.
