In 1998 in Zambia, a woman who just recovered from malaria breastfeeds her baby under a mosquito net at Mansa Hospital in the northern town of Mansa. Malaria is a principal cause of death in northern Zambia. A UNICEF-assisted malaria eradication project trains health workers to teach villagers how to impregnate inexpensive, locally available bednets with insecticide.
