The 2003-2007 country programme has established a number of NGO partnerships that have enhanced and complemented the effectiveness of UNICEF’s work. The majority of these partnerships will be brought forward to the new country programme cycle in 2008-2010 and yet more may be engaged as the professionalism and capacity of these new civil society partners grows in the coming years:
