This Holiday Season, in celebration of the 20th Anniversary on the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC), UNICEF and Hartamas Shopping Centre Kuala Lumpur invite you to join the Jingle Bell Fun Walk in support of children and their rights. The Fun Walk aims to celebrate children’s rights while raising funds for UNICEF’s programs in Malaysia and across the world. The CRC affirms that every child – regardless of where they are born, the race or ethnic group they belong to, whether they are a boy or girl, rich or poor, living with disabilities or with HIV – must have full opportunity to become a productive member of society, and must have the right to speak up and be heard. Please join us and celebrate every child, everywhere! There is no registration fee for this walk. Event details § Date: Sunday, 6 December 2009
§ Assembly time: 8.00 a.m.
§ Flag-off time: 8.30 a.m.
§ Assembly area: Main Entrance, Hartamas Shopping Centre
§ Walk route: 6 KM walk around Sri Hartamas
Happenings § There will also be a Treasure Hunt after the walk and free gifts will be given out by Santa to kids.
§ Those interested to make a one-time or monthly pledge donation, can stop by the UNICEF booth at Hartamas Shopping Centre.
How to participate § Please download the registration form and drop it off at Hartamas Shopping Centre's Information Counter before 5 December 2009.
§ Alternatively, you can fax the scanned completed form to (+6.03) 2093 0582.
Note : Kids aged 15 and below must be accompanied by an adult.
