WHAT:

#RAGEchat: Youth An excellent opportunity for young people to get peers and adults to listen to them. Finally!
#RAGEchat: Youth is part of an inter-generational dialogue between young people and ehem...oldies on the topic Youth and Adults: Collaboration of Forces for a Better World. This will provide young Twitterers a platform to talk with peers and adults to promote youth participation in Malaysia.
It is organised in support of the Malaysia launch of UNICEF’s flagship report, the State of the World’s Children Report for 2011, themed Adolescence – An Age of Opportunity.

The Panel, facilitated by Mr. Chris Ng, will comprise the following adults:

WHY:

Internet is (almost) everything to young people today and when used appropriately, it can be an excellent tool for empowering adolescents to speak out.
On what issues? Well, almost anything and everything that are important to them.
Empowering youths to make their opinions known through common platforms such as the Internet and social media outlets help level inequalities and discrimination on all levels.
