§ Badminton champion - Datuk Lee Chong Wei
National Ambassador (2009 to 2010)

Twenty-seven year-old badminton champion, Datuk Lee Chong Wei became a national hero when he won the silver medal in the 2008 Summer Olympic Games in Beijing, ending Malaysia's Olympic drought since 1996. In 2009, he was appointed National Ambassador for UNICEF in Malaysia to promote children's rights. As a successful athlete and role model for children and youth in the country, Lee plays a crucial role in promoting sport as a platform for non-violent conflict resolution, engaging young people to participate, as well as supporting UNICEF's fundraising activities to benefit programs for children. More

§ 3R TV hosts - Celina, Kartini and Rafidah
National Ambassadors (2005-2008)

3R is a television program created specially to recognise the importance of women's role in society and their ability to challenge and change the conditions in their lives and communities. The program brings issues of importance, relevance and concern to young women between the ages of 16 to 27. 3R's dynamic trio worked with UNICEF between 2005-2008 to increase AIDS awareness through their TV program, newspaper articles, media training for young broadcasters and special events such as "Keep the Music Clean" and the "3R-UNICEF All Women's Futsal Playoffs". In 2005, they were invited by UNICEF's regional office to participate in the launch of the Unite for Children, Unite against AIDS campaign in Bangkok, Thailand. More
