Mother's Day 2012
This Mother's Day, UNICEF is joining the people in Malaysia to pay tribute to mothers for their timeless contributions towards raising the next generation.
Despite the sacredness of motherhood, some 350,000 women and girls die from pregnancy and childbirth complications each year. In one generation, 10 million mothers are lost as a result. These deaths are preventable. In support of mothers everywhere, join #unicef4MOMS. Celebrate mothers and honour motherhood, maternal bonds and the invaluable role of mothers in caregiving and nurturing. § My mom is a superhero. Pay tribute to mom.
