Tune in to Me to celebrate children’s right to be heard

Media owners join UNICEF in raising awareness on children’s rights in Malaysia

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) invites a journalist and photographer / TV crew from your media agency to the official launch of UNICEF’s latest effort to celebrate children and their rights:

Tune in to Me – Media Launch
in conjunction with the 20th Anniversary of the
Convention on the Rights of the Child

Monday, 9 November 2009  •  2:30 pm – 4:00 pm

• Mr. Youssouf Oomar
   UNICEF Representative to Malaysia
   UNICEF Special Representative to Brunei
• Tune in to Me TVC Child Stars
Alexis Bistro (Upstairs)
29 Jln Telawi 3, Bangsar Baru
Kuala Lumpur

Tune in to Me celebrates children’s special place in the media by engaging media owners to give children opportunities to share their hopes, dreams and concerns on TV, radio, online and print – whether it’s hosting a program, sharing a drawing or video or simply voicing their opinions.

The multimedia campaign will be the largest collective effort by media owners in Malaysia that honours Article 12 of the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) – children’s right to be heard.

Organised in partnership with Leo Burnett/Arc Worldwide, Tune in to Me is a key UNICEF initiative to mark the 20th Anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) this year.

High-resolution graphics and broadcast quality video will be distributed to attending media.
