Rafidah Abdullah
Rafidah is law graduate who decided consciously not to go into her field of study. Instead she joined 3R in 2000 as one of the original trio to host 3R when the TV program first made its debut. She left at the end of the 5th season after receiving a scholarship from The British Council to pursue her post-graduate studies. Rafidah Abdullah is now back, having received a Distinction for her Master’s in Scriptwriting degree from Goldsmiths College, London. Since then, she has been busy conducting scriptwriting workshops as well as writing commercials, informercials, TV dramas, presentation videos, educational videos and a feature-length movie. Rafidah took up the bulk of the writing responsibilities for the 10th and 11th season of 3R. Her first feature film Gol & Gincu which was premiered in 2005 has since been turned into a popular TV series. On the personal side, Rafidah has been an active volunteer for various organisations like Food not Bombs that provide food to the homeless in KL and participates in activities organised by Sisters in Islam. Rafidah was appointed UNICEF Malaysia Goodwill Ambassador in June 2005. 3R • Celina Khor • Kartini Kamalul Ariffin
