Television fundraising
When it comes to meeting the rights of children around the world, the needs are urgent and ever-present. For instance, some 61 million primary school age children are not in school, and 19,000 children still die every day from largely preventable causes. UNICEF responds with programs in the areas of children's health and survival, basic education and gender equality, child protection, policy advocacy and partnerships, and programs for children in emergency situations.
