Fundraising Assistant


This post is aimed at providing overall administrative support for UNICEF's growing Private Sector Fundraising & Partnerships (PFP) section.

The key responsibility includes:

§ Performing functions for contracting of services that includes preparations for competitive bidding, supplier management, verifying invoices and SAP system processing

§ Assist the Chief of PFP in the development of corporate partnerships including:
o Attending to corporate fundraising enquiries
o Conducting desk research
o Assist in the preparation of presentations; agreements and reports for corporate partners

§ Assist Chief of PFP in budget monitoring

KEY COMPETENCIES AND EXPERIENCE

§ Completion of secondary education, preferably supplemented by technical or University course/s in a field related to the work of the organization.

§ Five years of progressively responsible clerical or administrative work, of which at least one year must be closely related to sales support and marketing operation.

§ Proficient in written and oral English and Bahasa Malaysia. Fluent in an additional local working language of Malaysia is an advantage.

§ Team player and ability to work in a multi-cultural and international environment
