What we do
UNICEF’s Education for Development and Gender Equality programme aims to improve access to quality learning opportunities for all children, and enable girls and disadvantaged children to complete the basic education cycle and graduate to secondary level. In line with Millennium Development goals 2 and 3, the programme contributes to achieving an 85 percent primary school completion rate by 2012.
