Child Survival, Growth and Development

Our objective: reducing child mortality

The program seeks to contribute to the reduction of infant and child mortality through over 95% immunization coverage and health education sessions focusing on anemia and nutrition.

 

What do we do?      

Our activities include:

  • Providing immunization coverage;
  • Providing vitamin A to children between 1 and 13 years and lactating mothers; 

  • Developing Health Education sessions/campaigns focusing on anemia and nutrition, in close cooperation and coordination between UNRWA, UNICEF and National & International NGOs’support;

  • Providing pediatric emergency equipment for 5 Palestinian Red Crescent Societies (PRCS).
