What is Child Protection?

Child Protection is about evidence-based advocacy and capacity building of service providers to recognize and respond to cases of violence and abuse.

Mechanisms are put in place to detect and address the physical, psychological and social impact of violence, abuse and exploitation on Palestinian children residing in the camps in Lebanon (Mainly in Baddawi and Ein El Helwi Palestinian Camps).

What do we do?

Our activities include:

  • Establishing and supporting listening/counseling/referral centers within a child protection network in all camps;

  • Building the capacity of partners and strengthening child protection networks in the Palestinian camps;

  • Expanding alternative measures to detention for Palestinian children in conflict with the law.
