Our objective: creating opportunities for Palestinian adolescents and young people

The program provides opportunities for adolescents and young people to participate in and contribute to the lives of their communities. The approach contributes to decreasing social tension and conflict.

Strategies include capacity building of youth committees and social mobilization to promote awareness of the needs and rights of adolescents.

What do we do?

Our activities include:

  • Supporting youth clubs and safe-play areas in 9 camps reaching more than 2,000 adolescents;

  • Implementing recreational and cultural activities including summer training for adolescents on life skills;

  • Strengthening the networking and exchange among adolescent/youth from different Palestinian camps and between Lebanese adolescents/youth;

  • Adolescent-led initiatives and projects on issues of interest to adolescents and youth, including mapping of socio-economic conditions in the Shatila and Baddawi camps.
