The launch of UNICEF flagship publication State of the World’s Children 2011 entitled “Adolescence: An Age of Opportunity”



The world is home to 1.2 billion adolescents aged 10-19. The vast majority of them live in developing countries and face a unique set of challenges. Investing in adolescent now can break entrenched cycles of poverty and inequity and ensure that adolescence becomes an age of opportunity.
