Agreement letter between UNICEF Iran office and Farabi Cinema Foundation for Children's Film Festival

UNICEF Iran Office and Farabi Cinema Foundation signed an Agreement Letter towards joint cooperation for this year's Children's Film Festival.

While signing the Agreement letter, UNICEF Representative in Iran, Munir Safieldin emphasized the importance of cinema and movie industry in promoting Children's Rights and its strong influence in entering the mind and heart of people and society.

UNICEF Iran Office will support the festival through provision of a UNICEF Award to a film that best represents children’s issues and rights according to the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC).

UNICEF Iran office will provide the interested film-makers and producers working with Farabi with required technical advice to address Children’s issues.

UNICEF Iran Goodwill Ambassador, Mahtab Keramati, may support the Children’s Film Festival when and where agreed and negotiated by both sides.

UNICEF Iran may also provide support to the caravan of communication and edutainment material dispatched to disparity areas in advance of the festival for less advantaged children.
