Water and Sanitation
UNICEF immediately rushed emergency water and sanitation equipment to the affected population. Over 400 kilometres of pipes and accessories were delivered and being installed to restore the urban and rural network. Bathroom units, including a shower and toilet, were provided to vulnerable households; toilets and washing facilities were also provided to Early Child Care and Recreational Centres.
