Child Friendly Cities
As part of the overall reconstruction of Bam, UNICEF is helping design a child-friendly and sustainable urban plan, including sanitary facilities, safe drinking water and hand-washing facilities for selected schools. Community participation is ongoing, with school children as key planners of their own environment through children’s design sessions.
