Namibia recently finalized a progress report for the 2006-2010 National Plan of Action for Orphans and Vulnerable Children, and a summary of the plan. The progress report is for the period 1 April 2006 to 30 March 2008 and identifies achievements, challenges and next steps to realize OVC outcomes, as well as revision of key monitoring and evaluation indicators in the light of the DHS results. This report has been instrumental in lobbying the Namibian Government to prioritize and integrate service delivery for orphans and vulnerable children.
