Executive Director Carol Bellamy was a guest on the Larry King show on August 14th

UNICEF Executive Director Carol Bellamy was a guest last Saturday on CNN’s Larry King show. Among the issues she discussed were efforts to protect children and how UNICEF is working to help meet the needs of children in Iraq.

Ms. Bellamy was joined on the show by landmines activist Heather Mills McCartney (wife of former Beatle Paul McCartney) in discussing ongoing efforts to reduce the number of landmines that still hurt and kill thousands each year.
