‘Stars of Europe’ concert offers music and messages about child rights
BRUSSELS, Belgium, 19 September 2008 – Tonight, Belgian TV hosts Maureen Louys and Marcel Vanthilt welcome ten thousands of spectators to ‘Stars of Europe’, a unique pop concert with artists from all over the continent. NEW YORK, 2 December 2005 – UNICEF has launched a new service offering electronic greetings from the website http://www.unicefshop.org. For the first time, private individuals and business users living in eight countries around the world can send a ‘card’ via the internet while making a donation to UNICEF causes.
Belgium’s Princess Mathilde supports girls’ education with visit to UNICEF warehouse
COPENHAGEN, 16 December 2004 – Her Royal Highness, Princess Mathilde of Belgium, visited UNICEF’s supply headquarters in Copenhagen on December 7. The visit, organized by the Belgium National Committee for UNICEF, is part of their “Education, My Right!” campaign.
