UNICEF undertakes Procurement Services for:

  • Governments
  • Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs)
  • United Nations Agencies
  • International Financial Institutions
  • Philanthropic organizations
  • Universities.

UNICEF does not undertake Procurement Services for:

  • Individuals
  • Profit-making entities.

Today, Procurement Services operates in over 120 countries.

Major partners include the Governments of Bangladesh, India, Nigeria and Pakistan for immunization. 

UNICEF also works with international partners such as the Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA), the World Bank, KFW, WHO, UNDP, UNOPS and The Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (GFATM) together with recipient countries, on a range of projects. 

Countries using UNICEF Procurement Services include Cambodia, D.P.R. of Korea, Ethiopia, Fiji, Ghana, Honduras, Indonesia, Kenya, Lebanon, Malawi, Madagascar, Morocco, the Philippines, the Republic of Yemen, Rwanda, Thailand, the United Republic of Tanzania, Togo, Uganda, Uzbekistan, Vietnam and Zambia.
