Human Resource OfficerTitle: Human Resource Officer Minimum Qualifications and Experience: 1) University degree in fields such as HR Management, Organization Development, Business Administration. Major Duties and Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the Chief of Human Resources, perform the following tasks: 1) Ensure that all HR systems and processes are functioning optimally. Monitor performance, identify problems, provide and implement solutions. As required, lead or assist with new initiatives eg implementation of SAP HRIS. 2) Responsible for the administration of entitlements for international and local staff – as delegated. Ensuring that the allocation of entitlements is according to the rules and regulations. Advising the Chief HR on cases for exceptional consideration; and or possible changes in policy. 3) Develop and maintain an HR information database that makes a positive contribution to effective people management. 4) Accountable for the accurate and timely collection, secure and confidential storage and availability of all human resources data. This will include personnel files, recruitment records, salary and benefits records (apart from payroll) etc. 5) Make regular visits to State Offices to advise and train staff on HR systems and processes, and entitlements administration. 6) Administer the HRS budget, maintain an up-to-date record and perform authorized transactions.
