Reducing child poverty

Reducing child poverty

UNICEF Ghana’s work on social policy and equity aims to reduce child poverty by tackling the underlying causes of economic and social exclusion.  We do this through working in partnerships at two levels:
• Through the policy level: using research, data production and policy analysis to advocate and communicate;
• Through the community level: addressing the financial and cultural barriers to accessing basic services.

Our five key areas:
• Social Policy and Budget Analysis
• Social Protection
• Monitoring and Evaluation
• Communications for Development
• Public Advocacy
