A pan-Caucasus Television Program "Our Express" has no analogue on Post Soviet TV Market. “Our Express” is a three-year joint project of Internews Georgia, USAID and UNICEF aimed at enabling young people to express their concerns through media as well as at building their capacity in TV production. Each programme will last 30 minutes and contain news blocks from each country with stories relevant to children and adolescents. Following the news blocks, a common theme will be examined for each country. This will enable young audiences in each country to see the similarities and differences within the Caucasus. The goal of this program is to create, via the powerful medium of television, an unprecedented contact among adolescents in the three Southern Caucasus countries of Armenia, Georgia and Azerbaijan. The programme focuses on instilling values in today’s youth, so they are equipped with the moral tools to help them guide the region’s future toward better-functioning democracies rooted in compassion and responsibility. Our Express will start as a monthly production in Year one, move to production once every two weeks in Year two, and finally to weekly production in Year three.
