Les plus belles réussites de l'UNICEF dans le domaine de la promotion de la distribution d'eau, de l'assainissement et de l'hygiène ont été ses interventions pour faire face à des situations d'urgence, la mobilisation des communautés locales, la distribution d'eau et la prestation de services d'assainissement aux écoles primaires et l'impulsion donnée aux initiatives de développement du jeune enfant.
