New York, le 7 mai 2004 - Les gouvernements ont pris du retard dans la réalisation des objectifs qu'ils s'étaient fixés il y a deux ans aux Nations Unies et  des millions d'enfants continuent de mourir de maladies évitables et de se voir privés de droits aussi élémentaires que l'éducation, l'eau potable ou la protection face à la maltraitance, a affirmé l'UNICEF aujourd'hui.
