'Gucci for UNICEF' Indy Bag

Gucci has been a UNICEF corporate partner since 2004, starting with a local holiday event in California, and growing to a campaign in over twenty countries in 2005 to benefit UNICEF programs for children affected by HIV/AIDS in Africa. Past campaigns have raised significant funds to benefit UNICEF programs in Malawi and Mozambique.

In November and December, 2007, in the company's third annual Holiday Campaign to Benefit UNICEF, Gucci donated 25% of sales from a select group of products designed by Creative Director, Frida Giannini. The funds raised will support UNICEF programs that provide lifesaving protection, health care, clean water and education to children in Malawi and Mozambique, where over one million children have been orphaned by the HIV/AIDS pandemic.

To further intensify Gucci's commitment to UNICEF, Giannini created a special edition "Gucci for UNICEF" Indy bag (pictured) to benefit UNICEF. The bag was inspired by the highly successful holiday campaign - and expands the company's support of UNICEF beyond the holiday season. Gucci is donating 25% of the sales from this bag through November 2008 to critical treatment and prevention programs in Malawi and Mozambique. The bag is available in stores worldwide.
