Purpose of the post:
Under the guidance of the Regional Adviser for Education, responsible for the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the regional component of Early Childhood Education and technical support to Country Offices, within the Education sector.
Your profile:
. Advanced university degree in Early Childhood Education or related Education field.
. Five years of progressively responsible professional work experience at the national and international levels in programme management, monitoring and evaluation, in the field of Early Childhood Education and/or Education.
. Knowledge of the latest developments and technology in ECD/Education.
. Analytical, negotiating, communication and advocacy skills.
. Professional leadership and teamwork abilities.
. Computer skills, including internet navigation and various office applications.
. Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-cultural environment and establish harmonious and effective working relationships, both within and outside the organization.
. Foundational competencies: Commitment, Drive for Results, Embracing Diversity, Integrity, Self-Awareness and Self-Regulation, Teamwork.
. Functional competencies: Building Trust, Managing Resources, Communication, Influence, Judgment, Team Leadership, Planning, Setting Standards, and Monitoring Work, and Technical Knowledge.
. Fluency in Spanish and English. Knowledge of Portuguese and/or French is an asset.
