UNICEF's Crisis Appeal for Togolese refugee children in Ghana - 4 July 2005
Following the unrest in Togo after the elections on 24 April this year, more than 15,000 Togolese have fled to neighbouring Ghana, of which approximately 8,000 are children. These children need urgent support for continuing their education in their host country.  Special attention is also needed for Guinea worm control and water and sanitation. UNICEF is therefore requesting urgently $ 946,000 for the period of July to December 2005.
