Namibia’s high HIV prevalence, compounded by three years of drought, has exacerbated the nutrition and health status of the most vulnerable, particularly children under 5 years old and those orphaned by AIDS. In response, UNICEF’s planned interventions will reach over 500,000 is joining hands with WFP to provide emergency assistance to the population most in need.
