The escalation of violence in Liberia has further highlighted the dynamic interplay between war and armed conflict across the sub-region in fuelling both domestic crises and regional instability. Working sub-regionally and within each country, UNICEF continues to address the immediate and life-sustaining needs and protection of the affected displaced and host community children and women.
