Appeal for quake-affected children in China

 

On Saturday 20 April 2013 a 7.0-magnitude earthquake hit Lushan County of Ya’an City in southwest China’s Sichuan Province.

 

UNICEF is responding immediately to support urgent government relief efforts in child protection, mother and baby health, immunization, hygiene and sanitation and young child nutrition in our current pilot sites in the emergency areas.
