At the Inaugural Forum in September 2012, the partners established four task forces with the aim to mainstream disability rights in key child-focused agendas, namely in nutrition, education, humanitarian action and assistive technology. Each task force developed a one-year workplan (September 2012 - August 2013) and will report back to the partners at the second Forum to be held 24 September 2013 in New York.

The outcome of the work by the task forces will contribute to recommendations from the GPcwd to Governments attending the High Level Meeting on Disability and Development scheduled for 23 September 2013 also in New York.
