FTSE, a leading provider of index data and services, first partnered with UNICEF in the United Kingdom in the mid-1990s. With its recent expansion into the United States, Europe and Asia, FTSE expanded its relationship with UNICEF into a global partnership tied to an innovative new family of indices called FTSE4Good, which has been designed to reflect the performance of socially-responsible equities.
FTSE donates the terminal and licensing fees from the index to UNICEF to support programmes for children around the world.
