My first appointment with a communications media director when I got to Colombia as UNICEF Representative, was with El Tiempo’s (then) co-director, Rafael Santos. He was wrapping up a planning meeting with Enrique Santos, the other co-director, and Roberto Pombo, general editor of the newspaper.

Bogotá, October 8, 2009. So that all Colombian children can have the same rights, UNICEF Representative Paul Martin, accompanied by the Good Will Ambassador Family comprising Carlos Vives, Claudia Elena Vasquez and Elena Vives Vásquez, present the footrace called CORRE X ELLOS (RUN 4 THEM), which will take place next November 22 in the city of Bogotá, an event with the purpose of raising funds to promote programmes for Early Childhood in Colombia.

ADVANCES IN FAMILY LAW


September 25, 2009. In order to commemorate the 20 years of implementation of Family Jurisdiction in Colombia, the High Courts of the Judiciary District of Bogotá will hold the International Seminar on “Advances in Family Law”, in the auditorium of the Bogotá and Cundinamarca Courts Building between October 1 and 3 of this year.
