3,000 participants from over 125 countries
are in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to exchange

progress, and reinforce commitments.

of Statutory Law was presented to Congress “in
which the law on Children and Adolescents
is promulgated”, a proposal that

Maternal Mortality, Infant Mortality,
and Water and Sanitation. Based on what

NEW PEDAGOGICAL TOOL
Bogotá,
November 7, 2008. The Colombian Social Foundation
(CedaVida) and the CedaVida Educative Foundation,
with support from the European Union and UNICEF,
has launched its latest publication “The
Present: Where Everything is Possible”.
In this book, authors Constanza Ardila and Adriana
Martínez have compiled the experiences
and pedagogical dynamics constructed during twenty
years of working with children in Colombia, emphasizing
the Opportunities for Peace project.
