EU and UNICEF partnerships
The European Union (EU) and UNICEF have formed a key partnership in the Central and Eastern Europe and Commonwealth of Independent States (CEECIS)region. This partnership has led to the EU investing, in total, more than 10 million euros in UNICEF country office projects in Belarus, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Georgia, Montenegro, Serbia, Turkey, and Uzbekistan.
UNICEF and the EU are in partnership to bring nutrition, health care, water and sanitation, psychosocial counselling and other basic necessities to vulnerable children and women.
Here, we provide a resource that reflects some of the work and progress achieved by this partnership.
As the challenges of providing humanitarian aid grow ever more complex, the EU and UNICEF remain committed to their common vision: providing the most effective possible aid and support to children and women in need.
