OneMinutesJr workshop in Ukraine on disabilities
As part of the International Integrational Youth Forum, UNICEF supported a OneMinutesJr video workshop from September 17-21, 2007. 15 teenagers, both with and without disabilities, wrote their own scripts and produced their own 60-second films over the course of the 5-day workshop. The Forum and the workshop took place in the Ukrainian National Paralympics Base in Yevpatoriya on the Black Sea coast of the Crimean. Looking at their own special needs or those of their peers, the young filmmakers produced a series of stunning videos that will be used to raise awareness for young people with disabilities. A video about the event, several OneMinutesJr videos and a photo essay produced at the workshop are online (see right box). For more information, please contact: Chris Schuepp
