OneMinutesJr & "Leave No Child Out" campaignThe Leave no Child Out campaign was launched at the end of 2003. It aimed to expose social exclusion and its impact on children and promote anti-discriminatory attitudes, behaviour, practices, policies and norms. The advocacy campaign was based on the non-discrimination principle of the 1989 Convention on the Rights of the Child. It targeted 7 main forms of discrimination and exclusion: poverty, ethnicity, institutionalisation, disability, the impact of conflict, gender discrimination, and the stigma of HIV/AIDS. OneMinutesJr video-makers from across CEE/CIS supported the launch of the Leave No Child Out campaign by producing 30 videos on topics such as social inclusion of disabled children, education, health, and drug prevention.
