UNICEF Brazil is very excited to accept interns. We believe that the internship program is very enriching.

UNICEF Brazil works in many areas such as (but not limited to): Operations, Communications, Administrative/ Management, Marketing, Human Resources, Finance, Child Protection, Education, Youth and Adolescent Development. We encourage all those who are interested in any of UNICEF Brazil’s areas and meet the below mentioned requirements to send the Internship Application and the P.11 forms to hrbrasilia@unicef.org

For the internship to be worthwhile and effective, interns will be accepted for a minimum period of 6 weeks and a maximum of 16 weeks. Often the period will coincide with an academic semester. Interns will not be paid by UNICEF and must make their own arrangements for living expenses, travel costs to and from the duty station and living accommodations.

To be considered for an internship in UNICEF, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Be a university student (undergraduate, graduate, post-grad) in a field related to international or social development, child survival or development, or management (the organization will not accept secondary school students or candidates not currently enrolled in an academic programme);
• Be proficient in at least one of UNICEF's working languages: English, French or Spanish (applicants should be fluent in the working language of the office they are applying to);
• Have excellent academic performance as demonstrated by recent university or institution records; and
• Have the support for internship by a sponsoring university, related institution or government.
