Young Child Survival and Development
Young Child Survival and Development focuses on the following issues:
· Supporting PMTCT programmes, including technical assistance to the Ministry of Health on coordination of paediatric care support
-Implementation of the Accelerated Child Survival and Development Strategy focusing on high impact interventions: Vitamin A supplementation and other nutrition interventions, immunisation, Insecticide-Treated Bednets, hygiene and sanitation and emergency response e.g. H1N1.
-Reducing malnutrition among children under five years old.
-Curriculum development for pre-school
