Integrated Child Development
The integrated child development project emphasizes the cost-benefit relation of integrated child development activities in improved health and education for children, as these benefits accompany them throughout their lives. This project is linked to the health sector in order to ensure adequate coordination of education in health and nutrition, early detection of disability, child care and personal hygiene. At the national level, the project supports the development of policies; resource mobilization; design of norms, guidelines, training plans, and educational materials; and the promotion of interministerial and interagency coordination.
