When it comes to children and their rights, there can be no issues of religion, ethnicity or gender,” said Calivis “At my meetings in BiH, I reaffirmed UNICEF’s commitment of assistance and support to the Government to make sure that children get the best possible chance to grow and develop in peace and harmony.” UNICEF Representative in BiH, Helena Eversole, was the host of the visit. She has presented the progress report on the situation of children and youth and the challenges facing them. “This high-level visit confirms UNICEF’s commitment to the children in this country.” - said Eversole. “We all - including Government, international community, politicians, parents, teachers, and ordinary citizens - still have a lot of work to do to fulfill this country’s responsibilities under the Convention of the Right of a Child.“
