School improvement teamsThe final aim of this programme is to create effective democratic schools by training 200 education professionals in 16 model primary schools. School directors, pedagogues and teachers are being trained how to improve school efficiency by implementing a comprehensive approach. In this UNICEF supported programme the schools will strive to add value to all pupils’ educational experiences. It is a school that is inclusive of all students, including those at risk, those with disabilities, and those who are socio-economically disadvantaged or belong to a minority.Primary schools are selected by coordinators from Ministries of Education and Pedagogical Institutes in such a way as to represent different geopolitical regions and communities (urban and rural) and in accordance with their motivation and willingness to participate in the programme.
